Research Interests
Broadly, I am interested in the role of religious processes in everyday life. How do the beliefs and practices associated with religions impact intra-group relations? More specifically, I am interested in the role of ritual (as understood to be a meaningful communal action) as a foundation for strengthening within-group cooperation. Furthermore, I am interested in the effect of religion and ritual on inter-group relations.
